Aberdeen Councils' £1000,000 radiation experiment on school children

It seems extraordinary, that despite knowing the possible carcinogenic risks of modern cell phones, schools are still allowing mobile phones in class.  In fact one school in Aberdeen is drawing up plans to buy mobile phones for any student who doesn’t yet have one!

The Scottish council which is currently in consultation for a number of controversial school closures in the area has sparked outrage by announcing the proposal to spend an estimated £860,000 to equip every student with a smart phone.

The aim is, apparently, to allow both primary and secondary school pupils to use their handsets in class, utilizing the new wi-fi systems that have been installed.

I don’t know what’s worse?  The extraordinary waste of money or the likely adverse health effects of the sea of radiation emitted by the phones and the new wi-fi system?

With the mire of radiation coursing through the classrooms, the chances of adverse long term health effects are going to increase exponentially.  And I thought that schools were supposed to ensure the welfare of their students?
